River Park Alert
Sexual Assault at Glen Hall Park
The Sacramento Police Department is trying to
identify the perpetrator responsible for sexually
assaulting a female in her late teens at Glen
Hall Park. The female’s identity is being
withheld due to statutory requirements and the
fact she is a juvenile.
On Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at 1:00 p.m., the
victim was walking near Glen Hall Park, along
Sandburg Drive. The suspect approached the victim
from the rear and forced her into the women’s
public restroom, where he sexually assaulted her.
He left the area on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a male White adult,
mid-40’s, 5’10”, 160-170 pounds,
with medium length brown hair. He had a full beard,
salt & pepper in color. He was wearing a grey
shirt with
writing on the front, blue jeans, and white tennis
shoes. The suspect spoke with a raspy voice and
southern accent. His appearance was dirty, possibly
transient.
Anyone with information regarding this assault,
or the identity of the suspect, is urged to call

and may be eligible for a reward up to $2,000. |
